Here’s a quick and practicalguide
to removing stains from skin and fabrics,
so you can enjoy colour with complete peace of mind.

Washing off the skin

Depending on the type of ink, different steps will be required.

Do not use alcohol or solvents of any kind
to prevent the ink from penetrating further into the skin.

To remove the dye from your skin,
all you need is soap and water.

Other inks or colours

They can be washed with
soap and water, but may
require several washes.

Soaking is always recommended to remove any residue more effectively.

Warning about the intense heat

If the stain does not disappear completely, DO NOT tumble dry or leave it out in the sun: the heat could set the stain. Instead, wash it again.

Mark 01

Poster Paint
(tubes, bottles, pots)

  • Rinse under warm water and scrub with a little soap.
  • Machine wash at 40 °C.
Carioca Tempera

Finger paints

  • Rinse the stain with warm water and soap.
  • Machine wash at 40°C for a thorough clean.

  • If it’s fresh, wash it off with soap and water,
    rubbing it with your fingers.
  • Machine wash at 40 °C.

  • Rinse in lukewarm water and scrub with a little soap.
  • Machine wash at 40 °C.

  • Even lukewarm water removes most of the colour.
  • For a thorough clean, machine wash at 30°/ 40 °C.

  • Machine wash at 40 °C.
  • For the black and brown Erasable versions, it may be helpful to soak the garment in lukewarm water before washing.

Wax crayons
and oil pastels

  • Warm water removes most of the residue.
  • Add a little soap and rub gently.
  • Finish the wash cycle at 40 °C.

  • You could try a stain remover specifically designed for that fabric.
